Obviously I had my first kiwi-encounters in the airplanes, and on my flight from Auckland to ChCh I noticed they had a really funny safety video.
I was jetlagged, so I didn't really notice that all the people in the video were actually naked, being bodypainted with their uniforms. I just liked it because they slipped in all these little jokes which made it a bit less standard and actually worth watching. I also loved the slight hint of the kiwi-accent.
But then Thomas sent me a link to a German news website and I finally understood... It's apparently part of a commercial-line to promote the fact that with Air NZ you have no hidden costs ...
Anyway this is the video they showed me:
And the flight attendants on my plane were all normally clothed...
