...bought a webcam 5 years ago.
It is awesome!!! I chatted with a friend and her baby, and with Thomas, for hours, and it was sooooo much better than over the phone. I dislike using the phone anyhow, and this was really as if we were indeed sitting face to face in her bedroom, my kitchen, or Thomas' kitchen.
Now I wish I could just wriggle myself into the webcam and wriggle out at the other end of the line and have breakfast with Thomas, or my friend, pinch the adorable baby in his cute chubby cheeks and make him giggle, walk out onto the balcony/garden into the European late summer sun ...
But, sun is shining in ChCh this morning (ehm, early afternoon...), so I will go out and go for a bike ride. After I've vacuumed.
And then I'll post those pictures of the tramping trip last weekend.
